Abstract

Abstrak: Virus Covid-19 menyerang dan menyebabkan inflamasi pada organ tubuh, terutam paru-paru bisa terjadi pada semua kelompok usia.  Tingkat mortalitas tinggi pada pasien covid-19 dengan kondisi kegawatan nafas diakibatkan peningkatan mediator proinflamasi yang tidak terkontrol. Upaya pencegahan penularan covid-19 sangat penting dalam penanganan  covid-19 salah satunya melalui edukasi.  Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kegawatan nafas pasien covid-19 pada Ibu Kader Posyandu di Desa Parangjoro. Luaran kegiatan yang diinginkan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat  adalah terjadi peningkatan status kesehatan masyarakat dengan tolok ukut peningkatan pengetahuan pada ibu Kader Posyandu mengenai kegawatan nafas pasien covid-19. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan tentang kegawatan nafas pasien Covid-19 padaIbu kader posyandu  dilihat dari hasil pre test sebesar 25 % menjadi 92,5 % saat post test. Kesimpulan yang didapat dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, bahwa edukasi masalah  kesehatan  pada masyarakat sangat penting dilakukan untuk meningkatkan status kesehatan masyarakat

 Abstract: Covid-19 virus attacks and causes inflammation in the body's organs, especially the lungs, which can occur in all age groups. The high mortality rate in Covid-19 patients with respiratory conditions is due to an uncontrolled increase in proinflammatory mediators. Efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are very important in handling Covid-19, one of which is through education. This community service aims to increase knowledge of the emergency respiratory of Covid-19 patients on Integrated Service Post  (Posyandu) Cadres in Parangjoro Village. Desired  outcome of community service activities is an increase in the health status of the community with the benchmark of increasing knowledge on Integrated Service Post  (Posyandu) Cadres regarding the emergency  respiratory of Covid-19 patients. Results  of this community service implementation showed an increase in knowledge about the respiratory emergencies of Covid-19 patients in posyandu cadres, seen from the results of the pre test by 25% to 92.5% during the post test. Conclusion obtained from community service activities is that education about health problems in the community is very important to do to improve the health status of the community.
